We just had a huge day at City Farm.  Not feeling like jumping in feet first Derrick and I decided to go to the local farm store.  I had a few ideas bouncing around in my head about what to buy.  We purchased a ten foot garden hose so that we could move the reel into the garden fence, and a two foot piece of inch diameter hose to connect the rain barrels.  The big buy though was a propane torch.  We intended to use it to clean around the chain link fence and also try to finally get rid of some very belligerent mulberry bushes.   (more…)
