Although this happened last Saturday night, I just couldn’t help myself any longer.  I had to share. Bloomington, Indiana is a city about 45 miles to the northeast of Linton. Being the home to Indiana University and the Hoosiers, Bloomington is a pretty diverse place when you consider where I come from.

Every June there is a one night festival called “The Taste of Bloomington”.  Over forty different restaurants gather together to let people try their food for just a few dollars.  One of the new things I noticed this year was the formation of the Bloomington Independent Restaurant Association. Apparently quite a few local eateries got together to fight the “Big Bad Chain”.  After looking at the list I saw quite a few places that i regularly visit.  Yet, I did see a few places that I will have to try in the future.
